Lively is committed to promoting accessibility, diversity and inclusion. We believe all our guests should be able to easily shop online, use our devices and smartphone apps, and access our other web sites and digital offerings. We strive to create an inclusive and barrier-free environment.
Our accessibility efforts
We aim to continually improve, maintain, and increase the accessibility of our devices and digital properties to ensure that all our customers have full and equal enjoyment of Lively’s online goods, products, services, privileges, advantages, and accommodations.
Lively.com and mobile app accessibility
We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility and are actively working to improve our user experience so that our website and apps are usable by everyone.
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Best Buy Health requests that services procured and performed by third party developers substantially conform to WCAG 2.2 AA.
Device accessibility
We take accessibility seriously as well when it comes to the products we provide. We offer an array of features on our various devices, a few examples include:
Jitterbug phones (general)
All phone models have loud, clear speakers and are compatible with hearing aids, enhancing sound quality for users with hearing loss.
Support voice commands, allowing hands-free operation and easier access to features.
Jitterbug Flip2
Features large, backlit, and tactile buttons that are easy to press and see, making dialing and texting more accessible.
Offers an easy-to-read interface with large, high-contrast text, ideal for users with vision impairments.
Jitterbug Smart4
Uses a list-based menu with large text and icons, simplifying navigation for users unfamiliar with smartphones.
Includes real-time speech-to-text for phone calls, helping those with hearing difficulties to follow conversations.
Supports voice typing for emails and text messages, reducing the need for manual typing.
Equipped with dual speakers and adjustable volume, including extra-loud settings and speakerphone mode for clearer audio.
Lively Mobile2
Designed with a simple, one-button interface that connects users directly to trained agents, providing quick access to emergency or support services.
To learn more about the specific features for your device, visit the Help Center or review the User Guide for your device.
We also offer the ability to use TTY, also known as a Text Telephone Device or Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD), when using services like Nurse On-Call or Care Advocate. TTY doesn't work over Wi-Fi or VoLTE calls. If you have a hearing or speech disability, you can dial 711 for a Telecommunication Relay Service (TRS), use a traditional phone line with TTY, or use Real-Time Text (RTT) to reach 911.
We want to hear from you
